How do I use a scented candle correctly?

Burn the candle for at least 2 hours the first time so that the entire surface melts — this prevents "tunneling" in the candle
Trim the wick to 5mm before each use for a clean flame
Never leave the candle burning for more than 4 hours at a time
Place the candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface
Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials
Never leave the candle burning unattended

What is the best way to extinguish a candle?

Use a candle snuffer or gently push the wick into the melted wax and then straighten it. Never blow out a candle — this spreads soot and displaces melted wax.

Why does my candle smoke?

This is usually due to a wick that is too long. Trim the wick to 5mm before use. Also, make sure the candle is not in a draft.

Can I use a scented candle in a small room?

Yes, but ensure adequate ventilation. Our candles are made from high-quality wax with carefully selected fragrance oils — safe for indoor use with normal ventilation.
